Gallery description

Hervey Bay Regional Gallery is the cultural heart of the Fraser Coast region, showcasing the richness and diversity of the area’s visual arts community. Operated by the Fraser Coast Regional Council, the gallery provides a feast of free visual arts experiences for all ages.
Discover the creative talents of our region’s artists as well as enjoying high-quality, touring art exhibitions from state and national galleries. Take advantage of the program of public activities, including exhibition openings, floor talks and workshops, as well as hands-on fun for the youngsters. The vibrant gallery program ensures Fraser Coast residents and visitors can enjoy a wide array of art forms and media, with exhibitions changing every four to six weeks.

Opening Hours

Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm during exhibitions. Closed public holidays.

Transport/Parking

Free public car parking available on site; disabled car parks available. Bicycle racks are available for cyclists. Bus stop on Old Maryborough Road, near entrance to Cultural Services site.

Access

Hervey Bay Regional Gallery and the Cultural Services complex is accessible for strollers, wheelchairs and other mobility aids.

Facilities

Public toilet facilities, including accessible toilets for people with disabilities, are available. A café is located within the adjacent University of Southern Queensland Fraser Coast Campus facility and is open weekdays.
