Gallery reference library and periodicals

Hervey Bay Regional Gallery's Reference Library contains books and periodicals on a range of arts related themes.  These can be viewed at the gallery during open hours (10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday) or borrowed through the Hervey Bay Library adjoining the gallery.

A range of catalogues from previous exhibitions hosted at the gallery and other major venues in Australia form a large part of the collection, as well as specific references on Australian art and individual artists.

The gallery maintains subscriptions to the following periodicals:

You will also find in the Gallery Reference Library exhibition portfolios that provide a record of all the exhibitions hosted at Hervey Bay Regional Gallery since its opening in 1997. Media scrap books containing published material about exhibitions and events conducted at the gallery are also available for viewing on request.
