Hervey Bay Regional Gallery

How to Exhibit

Hervey Bay Regional Gallery is committed to supporting the professional development of artists from throughout the Wide Bay region and Queensland through the Community Exhibitions Program.

This support includes fostering the development of skills and knowledge of Fraser Coast artists, and to provide them with opportunities to display newly developed work.  Hence, the Gallery’s annual program includes exhibitions by regional and Queensland-based artists.  By providing a professional platform for exhibitions, artists are encouraged and challenged in their arts practice, and receive valuable promotion and acknowledgement as professionals in their field.

Artists are welcome to submit applications to exhibit by completing an Exhibition Proposal Form. Completed forms should be submitted with accompanying CDs of images of their artworks to Gallery Director Marj Sullivan for consideration in the exhibitions program. Bookings are usually made 12 to 24 months in advance of an exhibition, which provides the artist with valuable time to develop a significant body of work to fill the exhibition space.
