Hervey Bay Regional Gallery is enthusiastic about developing long-term partnerships with businesses, schools, community groups and other organisations within our vibrant community.  The gallery is funded through the Fraser Coast Regional Council for the benefit of the community. Sponsors, providing both financial and in-kind support, are sought to assist the gallery to further develop its services to residents and visitors, for example in the areas of education, public program’s including activities and events for children, and artists’ development.

Hervey Bay Regional Gallery is now registered as a deductable gift recipient (DGR) enabling receipts to be issued for tax-deductable donations.  As such organisations providing monetary sponsorship will be able to claim this donation either as a deductable gift or as an advertising cost.  

Hervey Bay Regional Gallery has already welcomed the generous support of the following businesses:    

Art Pac Pacific Creative Media – providing $500 sponsorship per annum for the development of educational initiatives and the promotion of Hervey Bay Regional Gallery within schools.

Bayside Radiology - providing $500 sponsorship per annum for the staging of public programs and events for each exhibition.

Fraser Coast businesses interested in investing in the arts and developing cultural services to benefit the community are invited to form an exciting partnership with Hervey Bay Regional Gallery. As a major gallery sponsor, your organisation’s support would be publicly acknowledged through the media, in our six-monthly Exhibition Program brochure and in other relevant publications. Businesses can choose from a number of opportunities in which to become involved:

• Sponsor the gallery’s educational activities, for example for equipment, development of works for our Art in a Box initiative, bus costs for schools to visit the gallery or to provide professional assistance in operating programs ($250 - $500).
• Provide sponsorship for professional development opportunities such as artists’ workshops or talks by curators and visiting artists ($250 - $500).
• Sponsor promotional opportunities such as brochures, posters, advertisements or school kits to let the community know what is happening at the gallery ($500 - $1000).

Business operators and residents can also provide simple and free but valuable assistance to the gallery in the following ways:

• Promote the gallery and encourage visitation to exhibitions and events – after all, entry to Hervey Bay Regional Gallery is FREE.
• Visit the gallery regularly.
