The paintings and lithographic works by this surrealist and symbolist artist from Norway present archetypes related to existential and contemporary questions about social and political structures. The works describe Gonlund's particular interests in a flamboyant yet meaningful structure.
Gronlund completed art studies at Melbourne State College and the Victorian College of the Arts (1971-1976). She is currently a member of the Norwegian Visual Art Association and has had numerous exhibitions in Norway, while she last exhibited in Australia in 1991.
