Bay Regional Gallery Opening Hours: Visit Hervey Bay Regional Gallery and experience the Fraser Coast region’s cultural richness. The gallery is situated in the city’s heart at 161 Old Maryborough Road, sharing the site with the Hervey Bay Library and the University of Southern Queensland’s Fraser Coast Campus. Hervey Bay Regional Gallery is a modern, purpose-designed building that boasts a Category A status. This allows the venue to host high-quality touring exhibitions from state and national galleries as well as promoting the works of artists from within our region. Our trained and friendly volunteers are on hand to welcome you and answer any queries. Admission is free and visitors of all ages are welcome. Hervey Bay Regional Gallery is committed to supporting the professional development of artists from throughout the Wide Bay region and Queensland through the Community Exhibitions Program. Artists are welcome to submit applications to exhibit at the gallery by contacting staff for copies of the Exhibition Proposal Form. Completed forms should be submitted with accompanying CDs of images of their artworks to Gallery Director Marj Sullivan for consideration in the exhibitions program. Hervey Bay Regional Gallery is also enthusiastic about developing long-term partnerships with businesses, schools, community groups and other organisations within our vibrant community.
