Although working in vastly different styles, a mutual admiration has developed between Pat and Hilary since their first meeting as students at Wide Bay TAFE in 2006. Pat’s attention to detail and intricate patterning contrasts greatly with Hilary’s organic shapes and vibrant colours. Through this chance meeting and proceeding interactions, Visions of Time has developed. Each artist explores events throughout the year, expressing their personal experiences of living in Hervey Bay, seasonal celebrations, social occasions, and the environment. In this collection of paintings the viewer will experience flamboyant colour, interplay of shapes, boldness and a dash of humour.
